Comply with hygiene and food safety regulations **Job Description** The **Kitchen Assistant** will be responsible for supporting food preparation, plating, and finishing, as well as organizing and cleaning the workplace, utensils, and equipment. The role requires strict adherence to hygiene and food safety standards to ensure product quality and smooth kitchen operations. **Salary:** R$ 2\.150,47 to R$ 2,365,51 **Schedule:** 6 days on, 1 day off, with Sundays off **Working Hours:** 2:00 PM to 10:20 PM **Main Responsibilities** * Assist in pre-preparation, preparation, and food processing; * Clean and organize kitchen utensils, dishware, countertops, and equipment; * Support chefs and other team members during service; * Monitor and replenish supplies and materials; * Follow food safety regulations and good food handling practices; * Maintain a clean and organized workplace; * Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing food and supplies; * Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils. **Requirements** * Completed elementary education (preferred); * Prior experience in kitchen or food service (preferred); * Knowledge of good hygiene and food handling practices; * Organizational skills, proactivity, agility, and teamwork; * Availability to work weekends or holidays as needed. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in restaurants, hotels, or buffets; * Food handling certification; * Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
