Forklift Operator

Description

Job Summary: A professional responsible for operating forklifts to load and handle materials, as well as assisting with yard organization and basic repairs. Key Highlights: 1. Operating forklifts for loading and material handling 2. Assisting with yard and department organization and cleaning 3. Providing support for basic equipment repairs * Perform the forklift inspection checklist: oil, water, battery, cleanliness, tires, rearview mirrors, and headlights. * Receive the daily work assignment from the loading supervisor. * Load vehicles using the forklift. * Move materials within the yard. * Assist in unloading trucks and organizing the yard. * Assist team members in arranging, organizing, and cleaning the department. * Support the maintenance team with basic equipment repairs when required.
