**JOB OBJECTIVE** Lead and manage all activities related to product, packaging, process, food safety, and audit quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, specifications, end-to-end quality assurance (E2E), and customer expectations in the frozen vegetable food segment (shaped, cooked, or breaded). **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** · Lead and supervise quality activities, including product, packaging, process, food safety, and audits. · Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ANVISA regulations. · Develop and implement quality policies and procedures across the entire production chain. · Supervise the execution of internal and external audits, ensuring conformity with required standards. · Monitor and analyze quality indicators, proposing corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement. · Ensure quality of frozen vegetable products from raw material selection through final shipment. · Supervise packaging quality, ensuring compliance with protection, labeling, and regulatory requirements. · Collaborate with other departments—such as R&D, production, and logistics—to ensure integration of quality processes. · Lead preparation for and response to customer, regulatory agency, and certification body audits. · Develop and implement food safety programs, such as HACCP, APPCC, and traceability. · Ensure documentation and recordkeeping of all quality processes, including reports and certifications. · Identify and mitigate risks related to quality and food safety. · Promote a culture of quality and food safety throughout the organization. · Represent the company in meetings with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies. · Monitor trends and updates in quality and food safety standards and regulations. · Supervise non-conformance management, ensuring rapid and effective problem resolution. · Develop and implement quality and food safety training programs for employees. **COMPETENCIES** **1\. Education** · Bachelor’s degree in related fields (e.g., Food Engineering, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology). · Postgraduate degree or MBA in Quality Management, Food Safety, or related areas (preferred). **1\. Mandatory Training** · Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training course. · Food Safety training (e.g., HACCP, APPCC). · Quality Standards training (e.g., ISO 9001, FSSC 22000). · Quality and Food Safety Audit training. · Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations (applicable NRs). **2\. Technical Knowledge** · Proficiency in food safety standards and ANVISA regulations. · Advanced knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, FSSC 22000). · Familiarity with internal and external audit processes. · Ability to analyze quality indicators and make strategic decisions. · Knowledge of packaging technologies and frozen food preservation processes. · Proficiency in risk management and continuous improvement tools. **3\. Desired Experience** · Minimum 10 years’ experience in quality management within the food industry, preferably with frozen products. · Experience in processes involving mixing, shaping, cooking, or breading of foods. · Knowledge of team management and leadership of quality projects. · Experience preparing for and responding to customer and regulatory agency audits. · Experience implementing quality and food safety management systems.
