Job Summary: Heavy Machinery Operator for asphalt paving, responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining equipment such as vibratory finishers, rollers, and cold planers. Key Highlights: 1. Operate and inspect heavy machinery at asphalt paving construction sites. 2. Perform basic preventive maintenance and ensure operational safety. 3. Work collaboratively in asphalt application and material management. #### **Responsibilities** * Operate heavy machinery—including vibratory finishers, roller compactors, asphalt cold planers, and asphalt distributors—at asphalt paving construction sites. * Conduct daily equipment inspections (check\-list) prior to commencing operations, verifying fluid levels, tires, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. * Monitor machine operating parameters to ensure compliance with technical specifications of the paving project. * Load, unload, and transport asphaltic materials and aggregates, adhering to safety procedures. * Coordinate material flow and asphalt application speed, collaborating closely with earthwork and finishing teams. * Perform minor adjustments and basic preventive maintenance on equipment—such as lubrication and cleaning—and report mechanical failures. * Ensure operational safety by marking work areas and strictly following all regulatory standards and internal procedures. #### **Requirements** * Proven experience (minimum 3 years) operating heavy machinery for asphalt paving—including vibratory finishers, roller compactors, and/or cold planers. * Certification from a Heavy Machinery Operator Training Course or equivalent recognized qualification. * Valid Brazilian National Driver's License (CNH) Category D or E, with EAR (Remunerated Activity) endorsement. * Solid knowledge of safety regulations for operating heavy equipment at construction sites. * Familiarity with various asphalt mix types (CBUQ, PMF) and their application temperatures. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting basic paving and topographic plans for alignment and leveling. * Basic knowledge of diesel mechanics and hydraulic systems to identify minor equipment anomalies. #### **Skills** * Vibratory Finisher Operation * Roller Compactor Operation * Asphalt Cold Planer Operation * Basic Preventive Maintenance * Operational Safety * Paving Project Reading * Asphalt Quality Control * Radio Communication * First Aid ### **Employment Type:** CLT ### **Benefits:** Meal Voucher, Performance Bonus, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Wellhub \- formerly Gympass, Life Insurance, Transportation Allowance/Reimbursement, Accommodation, On\-site Meals ### **Department:** OPERATIONAL
