They are Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Winning, Ownership \& Leadership. **Position:** Jr. EHS Manager **Location:** Pouso Alegre, MG \- 100% on\-site **Reports to:** Senior Plant Manager and Senior H\&S LATAM Manager We are seeking a **Jr. EHS Manager** to coordinate, deploy, and implement the EHS Strategy in Brazil, operating at a production site with 600 employees and a D\&T warehouse with 70 employees. The objective is to build, in partnership with the Plant Manager, a robust Safety, Health, and Environmental culture, ensuring zero injuries and illnesses, no negative environmental impacts, and full compliance with national and corporate regulations, always aligned with global and industry standards. This position is strategic to ensure business continuity and EHS risk prevention. The professional will be responsible for: **Responsibilities** * Participate in developing local EHS resources, training technicians and engineers, and promoting integration across facilities. * Develop and implement strategies to enhance EHS performance, define required resources and succession plans, always aligned with Company guidelines. * Conduct compliance and regulatory assessments, coordinate Portuguese\-language materials, and ensure adherence to corporate, governmental, and environmental regulations, including FM Mutual, SEAL, and legal requirements. * Develop EHS programs based on trend analysis, coordinate preventive tools and risk analysis (hazard maps, audits, ergonomics, JSA, permits, and safe procedures), and support training to ensure effectiveness. * Validate change management processes impacting Safety, Health, and Environment; engage in innovation and efficiency projects; and participate in procurement, bidding, and contract management with a focus on compliance and budget execution. * Serve as the technical EHS lead in compliance with national legislation and lead responses to local, regional, and federal external agencies, while actively contributing to corporate programs such as SEAL \& PEAK and business continuity initiatives (BCP and ERP). **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering. * Fluency in English. Spanish fluency desirable. * Solid experience in management roles in Safety and Environment within industrial settings, with a track record in continuous improvement. * Knowledge of Brazilian legislation and understanding of OSHA/EPA regulations. * Experience implementing Environmental, Health, and Safety management systems, plus proficiency in tools such as Power BI. * Strong leadership, belief in the philosophy that all injuries can be prevented, ability to reinforce common goals and contribute to team spirit. * Excellent communication and presentation skills, proactive attitude, quick learning ability, resilience under pressure, and multitasking capability. * Responsible, strategic, and analytical profile, with ability to respond to emergencies, collaborate with senior management, and develop clear and effective strategies.
