Our global team is made of dreamers, doers and innovators who are Delivering POWER for a safer, brighter and more sustainable tomorrow. **Job Posting Title** Tooling PCP**Job Description Summary** Ensure planning, scheduling, and control of tooling production, guaranteeing timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant fulfillment of internal demands (maintenance, new projects, adjustments, and tool recovery), in close integration with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Maintenance departments.**Job Description** * Develop and maintain an updated master production plan for tooling, aligned with production and maintenance requirements. * Schedule and control work orders for tool manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and adjustments. * Monitor daily progress of work orders, tracking deadlines and production bottlenecks. * Conduct capacity analysis of the tooling department (labor, machines, and resources), proposing adjustments as needed. * Support priority definition in coordination with Production and Maintenance to minimize operational impact. * Generate production control reports and performance indicators (on-time delivery, setup time, machine efficiency, backlog, etc.). * Maintain continuous communication with Procurement and Warehousing to ensure availability of consumables, raw materials, and components. * Participate in integrated planning meetings (S&OP, maintenance and project meetings). * Support continuous improvement of tooling processes, focusing on productivity gains, cost reduction, and lead time reduction. **Required Skills and Education** * Technical and/or undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, or related fields. * Prior experience in PCP, machining, tooling, or industrial maintenance. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings. * Familiarity with tool manufacturing and maintenance processes (machining, heat treatment, metrology). * Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production management tools. * Advanced Office suite skills (advanced Excel is a plus). **About AAM:** As a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier, AAM designs, engineers and manufactures Driveline and Metal Forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles.
