




Job Summary: The professional will set up and operate injection machines, perform quality control, handle molds, and record production, ensuring safety and basic maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Production recordkeeping and workplace safety Injection machine setup: adjusts machine parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, and cycle time) according to the part and mold to be used. Process feeding: supplies the machine with molten or paste-like metallic alloy (aluminum, zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy [Zamak], magnesium, or other metal). Injection machine operation: initiates and monitors the injection cycle, ensuring proper metal injection into molds. Part quality control: performs visual and dimensional inspection of produced parts, identifying defects such as flash, porosity, incomplete filling, or cracks. Mold handling: assists in mold installation, removal, and replacement, ensuring correct alignment and secure fixation on the machine. Initial finishing: may perform gating channel cutting, flash removal, or other basic operations prior to transfer to the finishing department. Production recordkeeping: logs quantities produced, defects, and machine downtime, maintaining productivity tracking. Safety and basic maintenance: ensures proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), monitors machine conditions, and performs minor adjustments and preventive cleaning.
