Key duties include assisting drivers in parking equipment on loading ramps, securing and releasing straps around vehicle wheels, operating the ratchet handle, and performing trailer pinning. **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:** **Equipment Maneuvering:** Assist drivers in parking equipment on loading ramps. **Vehicle Tie-Down:** Secure and release straps on vehicles positioned on the upper and lower levels of trailers. This includes proper handling of the ratchet handle and correct pinning to ensure the safety of all personnel involved in the process. **Tie-Down Inspection:** Regularly inspect the integrity of tie-downs to ensure they are properly tensioned. **Use of Safety Equipment:** Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, fall arrest harnesses, and helmets, during operations to ensure personal safety. **Compliance with Safety Procedures:** Strictly adhere to company-established safety procedures to prevent accidents and vehicle damage. **Communication:** Report any issues or irregularities identified during tie-down operations to the supervisor or designated responsible person. **Cleanliness and Organization:** Maintain a clean and organized work area by removing obstacles and ensuring straps, equipment, and tools are stored appropriately. **Training and Development:** Participate in training programs and development initiatives offered by the company to enhance skills and knowledge related to tie-down operations and safety. **Preventive Maintenance:** Assist in basic maintenance of straps and tie-down equipment, reporting any problems or damage for repair or replacement. **REQUIREMENTS:** COMPLETED ELEMENTARY EDUCATION PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS. **Minimum Education Level:** High School (Secondary Education)
