Job Summary: A professional responsible for supervising material handling, storage, and dispatch; managing teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring safety and quality. Key Highlights: 1. Ensures safety and quality in material handling Job Responsibilities: Supervise material handling activities, defining the appropriate transportation method for each type of cargo to ensure proper packaging of products and equipment, preserving their integrity and quality, as well as the accuracy of quantities received, stored, and dispatched; Plan the arrangement of stored materials to facilitate identification, location, and handling; Supervise inventory activities together with the team; Establish staffing plans aligned with required handling operations; Monitor employee shifts and attendance; Actively and responsibly participate in the selection process for new hires and in all Human Resources development initiatives; Define tasks outlined in the Work Instruction document and ensure their execution; Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations by the warehouse team; Conduct and/or support daily safety briefings with the team; Maintain communication with transporters and suppliers regarding material deliveries and returns; Gather priority requirements from internal customers concerning material needs to guide dispatch scheduling and team planning within the supervised units; Interact with customers to address requests and ensure delivery deadlines; Identify opportunities to improve and modernize equipment, facilities, and procedures to enhance performance and productivity; Control general departmental expenses (consumables, telecommunications, IT supplies, fuel, etc.) to contribute to cost reduction in these areas; Monitor matters related to hiring, payroll, benefits, labor relations, and termination in coordination with HR; Monitor audit execution to provide required documentation and address non-conformities; Guide and train the team in performing their duties.
