Description
Support occupational safety and environmental activities by implementing preventive, educational, and corrective actions to protect employees' physical integrity, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, and procedures related to occupational safety and environmental protection.
**Responsibilities and duties**
* Control and distribute personal protective equipment (PPE), specifying workers' use thereof to reduce occupational accident risks;
* Administer service provision contracts, including monitoring and processing payments;
* Analyze work methods and processes to identify risk factors related to occupational accidents, occupational diseases, work-related illnesses, and exposure to harmful environmental agents affecting workers, proposing their elimination and control;
* Daily implementation of safety standards applicable to construction projects, expansions, renovations, physical layouts, and workflow arrangements, ensuring compliance with occupational safety and hygiene measures—including those involving third parties;
* Forward standards, regulations, documentation, statistical data, analysis and evaluation results, technical and educational support materials, and other dissemination resources to relevant departments and areas for workers' awareness and self-development;
* Implement occupational accident and occupational disease prevention programs, monitoring and evaluating their outcomes;
* Participate in CIPA programs, proposing preventive and corrective solutions for occupational accidents;
* Develop and deliver training on workplace safety and associated risks;
* Support environmental monitoring activities by providing relevant information to the Environmental Engineer;
* Collaborate with agencies and entities involved in occupational accident and occupational disease prevention;
* Develop safety-related procedures focused on legal compliance and process standardization.
**Requirements and qualifications**
Mandatory:
* Completed technical course in Occupational Safety or currently enrolled in Occupational Safety Engineering;
* Knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NRs);
* Familiarity with current legislation;
* Industrial environment experience;
* Critical analytical ability;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Preferred:
* Experience with integrated systems in this field;
* Intermediate or advanced Excel skills.
