Job Summary: Safely transport patients between units and for examinations, ensuring equipment hygiene and functionality. Key Highlights: 1. Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of stretchers 2. Ensure patient identification safety 3. Assist in planning and organizing transportation Transport patients between units and from units to internal examinations, meeting specific requirements for each case—such as using appropriate PPE for isolated patients—and collaborating with the multidisciplinary health team to coordinate and perform transportation; maintain intravenous support and other stretcher devices in proper working condition. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Maintain stretcher cleanliness and maintenance, and notify nurses when repairs are needed for stretchers or auxiliary transportation equipment; * Be familiar with routines and operating hours of imaging diagnostic departments and other examination departments within the institution; * Understand specific PPE requirements for isolated patients; * Assist in planning and organizing transportation for each patient; * Keep stretcher side rails elevated during patient transport; * Ensure patient identification safety by verifying full name and date of birth before initiating transport; * Return stretchers or wheelchairs to their originating department after transport is completed; * Before initiating transport, confirm that the patient is correctly and safely positioned; * Perform other duties relevant to the position. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Preferably currently enrolled in a nursing technician or auxiliary nursing program; * Prior knowledge/experience in this field is an advantage. **Additional Information** UAI PLANALTO \- UAI LUIZOTE 12x36 Salary Range: R$2\.000,00 to R$2\.300,00 Benefits: Meal Voucher Transportation Voucher Life Insurance Partnerships with SESC and Tangará **SPDM** \- Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility, respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925, dated 03/04/1966; No. 40\.103, dated 05/17/1962; and No. 8\.911, dated 07/30/1970. Their operational dynamics align with the needs of the Municipal Health Secretariat (SMS) to serve the population of Uberlândia/MG. SPDM – Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine assumed management of the Integrated Care Units (UAIs) of the Municipality of Uberlândia on June 1, 2018, striving for excellence in public healthcare and commitment to SUS principles.
