Opportunity Responsibilities Ensure a safe environment free from environmental impacts within the company, preventing workplace accidents and continuously improving practices related to employee safety and environmental preservation. Essential Responsibilities:* Ensure compliance with recommendations established in Health and Safety Procedures and Legal Requirements defined by regulatory agencies at federal, state, and municipal levels, contributing effectively to current Health and Safety management. Also, know the Management Policy, documents, records, and management elements of the company related to your activities. Main Responsibilities (what you do, how you do it, and why you do it \- objective): * Support CIPA by participating in meetings, listening to reported needs, providing suggestions, proposing solutions, and assisting in implementing actions to improve the company's safety, health, and environmental indicators. * Evaluate compliance with Safety Instructions regarding supply, training, use, control, and maintenance of PPEs and collective protection equipment to ensure the integrity of employees performing activities at Magazine Luiza. * Assist in implementing necessary corrective/preventive measures to eliminate risks of personal/material and environmental accidents for employees engaged in Magazine Luiza-related activities, specifying and guiding the use of personal protective equipment and required technologies. * Assist Human Resources in developing and validating training content for employees performing activities at Magazine Luiza on safety and health topics, ensuring alignment with Magazine Luiza's management system. * Contribute to delivering training sessions for employees performing activities at Magazine Luiza, conducting periodic health and safety meetings to promote a culture of accident and incident prevention within the company. * Assist in and prepare the PGR \- Risk Management Program. * Share professional knowledge in a structured manner, promoting formal training guided by Human Resources or informal improvement initiatives to meet specific employee development needs identified by the company. * Contribute to updating documentation for identifying, analyzing risks, aspects, and impacts of activities performed at Magazine Luiza, reporting newly identified risks to responsible parties. * Assist, when requested, in projects and implementation of new physical and technological facilities for the company, suggesting actions that mitigate or eliminate health and safety risks. * Assist in preparing managerial reports for the area using real safety and environmental data to support decision-making by your manager and other company leaders. * Assist in preparing and ensure implementation of Safety Talks. * Participate in morning meetings and routines to deliver safety messages. * Conduct practical forklift and pallet jack operation tests. * Register information in the Apdata system and submit e\-Social reports; * Contribute to drafting norms and procedures for the area, guiding company employees on precautions to be taken during work processes at Magazine Luiza, ensuring actions align with regulatory standards and current legislation. * Monitor the company's fire brigade according to current legislation to achieve its objectives. * Investigate low-complexity incidents, accidents, and environmental events occurring in decentralized units and CD \- Distribution Centers, following specific procedures to implement corrective and/or preventive actions and inform various company departments about employee safety and environmental occurrences. * Conduct low-complexity safety and environmental inspections in decentralized administrative units and CD \- Distribution Centers, based on safety management system requirements, to minimize safety risks. * Help promote a safety culture within the company. Requirements * Occupational Safety Technician qualification. * Preferred: Environmental studies course 2510180202231786209
