Financial Administrative Assistant

MISSION The Financial Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting an organization's financial operations. Responsibilities include performing administrative tasks related to finance, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. This professional works closely with the finance department, assisting in various activities that contribute to the company's financial health. RESPONSIBILITIES · Financial Transaction Recording: Record and process financial transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, invoices, payments, and receipts. · Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure the company's accounting records match bank records. · Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. · Budget Preparation Support: Collaborate in the budget preparation process by providing relevant financial information and assisting in performance analysis against budget. · Vendor and Customer Service: Handle financial matters related to vendors and customers, including processing payments and resolving inquiries. · Document Filing and Organization: Maintain organized and properly archived financial documents for easy access and future reference. · General Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and performing other administrative tasks as needed. REQUIREMENTS · Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with basic accounting principles is essential for performing job duties. · Technical Skills: Ability to use spreadsheet software (such as Excel) and accounting systems is fundamental. · Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail when working with numbers and financial records. · Organization and Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency. · Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and other stakeholders. · Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with other team members and support the organization's financial goals.
