




Job Summary: The Butcher Assistant is responsible for serving customers, performing meat cutting, and ensuring product quality and excellent service. Key Highlights: 1. Focusing on quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental preservation. #### **About the position:** The Butcher Assistant is the professional responsible for serving customers at the butcher counter and performing meat cutting to better meet customer needs, ensuring product quality and service excellence. #### **Main responsibilities:** * Monitoring product expiration dates on display, checking the counter daily and verifying identification and expiration labels to minimize losses. * Providing customer service at the butcher counter with courtesy and attentiveness, aiming for high-quality service. * Performing meat cutting using appropriate equipment such as meat grinders, band saws, knives, and others, always adhering to safety regulations to ensure operational quality and better customer service. * Organizing refrigerated chambers, using required PPE and following company safety regulations to improve operational efficiency. * Packaging and weighing products requested by customers, respecting and following each product's codes to enhance customer service. * Packing products in appropriate packaging for customer sale, following each product's weighing guidelines to maintain service quality. * Organizing product display at the meat counter, checking for restocking needs, and maintaining an attractive, clean, and organized layout. * Assisting in monitoring counter temperatures, checking the thermometer daily and reporting any abnormalities to the immediate supervisor to ensure proper product preservation and prevent losses. * Assisting, whenever necessary, in restocking chilled and frozen items, following storage instructions to ensure proper display and preservation of products. * Assisting, whenever necessary, in receiving goods, loading and storing merchandise, and supporting verification processes to promote operational efficiency. * Complying with technical and quality standards, as well as safety, hygiene, health, and environmental preservation procedures. * Assisting in cleaning, maintenance, and organization of the workplace using sanitation techniques to keep the area in optimal condition and operational readiness. * Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment used for meat cutting according to established hygiene requirements and standards. * Greeting customers whenever passing by, maintaining eye contact and being courteous to ensure service excellence. * Asking customers if they need assistance whenever necessary, guiding them to the relevant section or product they are seeking and suggesting complementary items when appropriate. * Performing other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or based on company needs. #### **Mandatory requirements:** * Flexible availability regarding working hours. * Good communication skills and proactivity. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Physical fitness to stand for extended periods. * Medical suitability for work in refrigerated environments. * Organizational skills and attention to detail. * NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED #### **Benefits:** * Meal Allowance: R$400 * Attendance Bonus: R$150 * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Transportation Benefit * Performance Recognition Bonus * Courses and Training * Various Discount Partnerships #### **Work schedule and hours:** Monday to Saturday, CLT, full-time.
