Job Summary: Perform assembly and installation of structures by interpreting project drawings, organizing and moving components, ensuring precision and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Interpretation of project drawings and technical specifications 2. Use of hand tools and power tools, lifting equipment 3. Strict adherence to occupational safety regulations Assemble and install structures of various types and sizes. Interpret project drawings, organize and move components, perform alignment, fitting, and fastening of parts using hand tools and power tools, lifting equipment, and strictly following safety regulations. Ensure dimensional accuracy, structural stability, and safety of the assembled structure. * **Project Drawing Interpretation:** Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly plans, construction details, and specifications to understand the assembly sequence and structural characteristics. * **Component Organization and Handling:** Identify, sort, and organize components at the assembly site using handling plans and cargo-handling equipment. * **Component Inspection:** Inspect received metal components for dimensions, integrity, and compliance with the project. * **Element Assembly:** Assemble structural elements on the ground (where feasible), such as trusses, beams, and columns, using bolts, pins, rivets, or other temporary fasteners. * **Lifting and Positioning of Components:** Use lifting equipment to raise and position metal components at locations specified in the project, following safety procedures and instructions. * **Alignment and Leveling:** Perform vertical and horizontal alignment of components to ensure squareness and leveling of the structure according to project-specified tolerances. * **Final Fastening:** Permanently fasten metal components using high-strength bolts tightened with calibrated torque wrenches, performing welding (if qualified) or applying other specified fastening methods. * **Adjustments and Finishing:** Perform minor adjustments, cutting, or deburring on components using hand and power tools to ensure perfect fit and proper finish of the structure. * **Assembly Inspection:** Verify assembly quality by checking alignment, bolt tightness, weld integrity, and compliance with the project. * **Work at Height:** Perform assembly tasks at elevated heights using aerial work platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or industrial climbing techniques, strictly adhering to safety regulations. * **Tool Usage:** Properly handle hand tools (wrenches, Allen keys, pliers, levels, plumb bobs) and power tools (drills, impact drivers, grinders). * **Team Communication:** Maintain clear and effective communication with other members of the assembly team. * **Occupational Safety:** Strictly comply with occupational safety regulations, using appropriate PPE for each task and following safety procedures for working at height and cargo handling. * **Worksite Organization:** Keep the worksite clean and organized to facilitate movement of personnel and materials and prevent accidents.
