Demonstrate strategic vision, adaptability, emotional intelligence, negotiation ability, and execution capability. **Manufacturing Safety:** Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify job-related risks and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory safety requirements for workers, environment, and workplace. **Planning and Organization:** Knowledge of task and resource planning and organization processes; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to complete activities, structuring and maintaining work systematically and highly methodically. **Process Improvement:** Understanding and discernment in evaluating current product and production method quality, with the ability to maintain focus on continuous improvement of processes, products, and services. **Profile / Responsibilities:** The primary challenge of this role is to ensure compliance with Caterpillar’s global quality processes defined in the Quality Management System (QMS), and to implement continuous improvement plans/initiatives aligned with local and corporate strategy. Supervise and coordinate production line or support area activities, prepare schedules, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with Safety and Quality standards. Promote employee engagement. * Support development of strategies, processes, guidelines, and control plans that ensure manufactured product quality and reliability. * Lead development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to achieve quality goals. * Investigate and address trends related to internal and external nonconformities. * Participate in New Product Introduction processes, ensuring planning and execution of required quality processes and validations. * Foster an environment to generate ideas and drive continuous improvement. * Guide employee development for current roles and future challenges. * Create reports and records of production processes, tool performance, issues, and inventory; share this information with **Leaders** and provide suggestions to improve Safety, productivity, and Quality. * Prepare, maintain, and update documentation related to Quality/Manufacturing procedures, ensuring all processes and products meet desired standards. * Supervise and direct daily activities of Quality/production line workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination among different teams, guaranteeing a controlled environment alongside worker Safety, and monitoring their performance. * Manage shift scheduling and work conflicts, promote job rotations, monitor Safety, and foster internal communication to create a collaborative and continuously improving culture. **Basic Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, or related fields. * English: Intermediate level * Knowledge in Leadership, Projects, Production Processes, or Support Areas * Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles (5S, TPM, OEE, BIQ, Takt Time / Cycle Time, etc.) * Microsoft Office 365 * Knowledge of assembly, logistics, manufacturing, painting, and Quality processes. * Willingness to work rotating shifts (e.g., second or third shift) * Soft Skills: Strategic vision, interpersonal relationships, effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, and Lean knowledge. **Preferred Candidates Should Have:** * English: Upper-intermediate level or higher * Postgraduate degree / MBA in Human Resources Management, Manufacturing, or Quality * Experience working with Lean Manufacturing * Black Belt certification and experience * Experience in People Leadership * Experience in Assembly, Logistics, Manufacturing, Painting, and Quality processes. * Degree in Quality or related fields. *Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days per week.* **Interested in this challenge and want to grow your career at Caterpillar?
