Job Summary: Perform maintenance on molds and tools, operate machinery, and oversee component fabrication to ensure continuity of the manufacturing process. Key Highlights: 1. Maintenance and adjustment of molds and tools for manufacturing processes 2. Operation of machines such as milling machines, grinders, lathes, and drills 3. Fabrication of product prototypes and participation in critical reviews Perform maintenance on molds and tools to ensure continuity of the manufacturing process; work at benches to assemble and adjust tools and molds. Responsibilities: * Operate milling machines, grinders, lathes, and drills to maintain molds and tools, and create sketches of molds and tools to ensure accurate component fabrication when required; * Organize and manage the spare parts section, restock inventory, and ensure molds and tools are properly identified during and after operations. * Oversee component and tool fabrication from start to finish. * Participate in project critical reviews. * Fabricate product prototypes, document design changes, and forward them to the engineering department for updates. * Support flat and cylindrical grinding operations by operating machines to adjust components for mold and tool formation, and perform inspection and/or maintenance of tools and molds. * Carry out refurbishment, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance on molds and tools. Requirements: * Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering; * Experience in stamping, cutting and drawing tools, and progressive tools; * Knowledge of zamac and plastic injection molds; * Experience with grinding equipment is considered a plus; * Availability to work the third shift.
