




Description: It is highly important that you have and/or know: * Academic Qualifications: Completed undergraduate degree in Textile Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Administration with a focus on Quality, or related fields. Postgraduate studies or an MBA in Quality Management, Industrial Management, or related areas are mandatory. * Professional Experience: Proven experience of at least 8 years in quality management positions within large-scale garment or textile manufacturing industries, including hands-on experience managing multidisciplinary teams and supply chain management. * Technical Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949), quality tools (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, MASP), and applicable sector legislation. Proficiency in management software (ERP, MES) and data analysis. * Behavioral Skills: Strategic leadership, systemic vision, negotiation and influence capabilities, analytical thinking and resolution of complex problems, effective communication across all levels, proactivity, and results orientation. * Differentiators: Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma. Knowledge of supplier audits and international certifications. Key challenges of the role: Lead and strategically manage Guararapes’ quality management system, ensuring quality across the entire industrial chain to prevent or minimize rework, enhancing reliability, visibility of cost-reduction opportunities, margin improvement, and product quality at every stage—from evaluation of incoming or internally produced raw materials through to the finished product. Ensure compliance with standards and regulations, as well as customer satisfaction, aligned with the company’s business objectives. Responsibilities: * Define and implement the quality policy and objectives across the organization, aligned with the company’s strategy; * Manage the quality team, fostering its development and high performance; * Ensure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001), textile industry regulations, and customer requirements across the entire industrial chain; * Develop, monitor, and analyze quality performance indicators (KPIs) across the entire chain, proposing action plans to address failures and drive continuous improvement; * Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence by implementing continuous improvement tools (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma); * Represent the company in external and internal audits, ensuring certification and maintenance of quality standards; * Manage the quality department budget, seeking resource optimization and return on investment; * Ensure integrated quality across the entire industrial chain—from raw material evaluation (incoming or internally produced) to finished goods—aiming to reduce rework and costs; * Develop and supervise robust action plans to address failures and non-conformities, ensuring effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions; * Enhance process and product reliability, increasing visibility of opportunities for cost reduction and margin improvement; * Elevate quality standards and gain efficiency in production processes through implementation of best practices and technologies. 2512210202551855219
