At Diagonal, we believe every journey matters and that cities and lives can be transformed starting from people. **People are our territory!** **\#JoinDiagonal** **Responsibilities and Duties** **What will be your giant mission?** * Collaborate within a web development team, mastering both frontend and backend; * Master scalable, high-performance backend technologies: PHP Laravel and Node.js; * Master frontend technologies such as Svelte.js and React.js; * Conduct testing and debugging to ensure application quality and stability; * Apply and adhere to SOLID principles and best practices; * Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks; * Stay updated on best practices and trends in web development and propose improvements to the team; * Build database routines and reports using PostgreSQL; * Develop highly scalable dynamic features; * Design and implement solutions (APIs and services), integrating with third-party APIs; * Collaborate with frontend developers to build user interfaces; * Maximize speed of deployed systems and routines; * Collaborate with the development team to design and implement technical solutions meeting project requirements; * Analyze systems and propose solutions to real-world problems. **Requirements and Qualifications** **To succeed in this mission, it is essential to have:** * Minimum 6 years of experience in backend development using PHP Laravel and Node.js; * Minimum 6 years of experience in frontend programming languages, specifically React.js; * Experience with relational databases PostgreSQL and MySQL; * Experience integrating third-party APIs and developing RESTful APIs; * Ability to write clean, readable, and modular code following best programming practices; * Familiarity with version control using Git; * Solid knowledge of MVC architecture and microservices; * Mastery and application of SOLID principles in application development; * Ability to collaborate effectively in an agile environment; * Familiarity with Scrum and Kanban methodologies. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Development and maintenance of mobile applications using Flutter. * Proficiency in Docker configuration. * And most importantly for us: deep appreciation for people! **Additional Information** **Here’s what we offer:** * Employment type: PJ (individual contractor) * Competitive market-based remuneration; * Work model: Remote (Home Office) Become part of the Diagonal Social family and together we’ll achieve incredible heights!
