Your responsibilities include: * Co-designing the data architecture with consideration for scalability, performance, and future requirements * Designing and implementing efficient ETL/ELT processes for structured data integration and delivery (on-premises in the Apache Hadoop ecosystem; cloud-based in the Microsoft Azure & Fabric ecosystems) * Developing Power BI solutions, including data modeling, visualization, and performance tuning * Implementing data management, governance, and data quality strategies * Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data processes to ensure quality, stability, and rapid deployment * Further developing data products and self-service analytics platforms in close collaboration with business units and data scientists * Independently executing projects * Innovative and analytical thinking, initiative, and client orientation * Acting as an interface between management, business units, and development teams to clearly communicate requirements and outcomes Your profile ------------ * Completed technical vocational school, university of applied sciences, university, or technical high school (field: Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics) * Strong expertise in Data Engineering, Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric), Power BI (including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling), version control tools (Git), and Apache frameworks * Programming skills in Python * Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and operating systems (Windows, Linux) * Communication skills, teamwork ability, decision-making capability, and client- and service-oriented mindset * Innovative and analytical thinking * Problem-solving ability, holistic thinking, change management, and quality awareness * Data storage, architecture, databases, and data transformation * Excellent German and English language skills What we offer -------------- **Compensation and benefits:** The collectively agreed minimum gross salary for this position is €4,445.95 per month (paid 14 times per year).
