Leadership in the goods receipt and sorting process About the Role: You will be the fundamental link between our suppliers and the shelves of our stores. We seek a professional who not only negotiates but also demonstrates an owner's mindset—ensuring continuous replenishment, cost optimization, and delivery excellence. At WIZMART, the Purchasing Analyst plays both a strategic and operational role. Your Responsibilities: * Research and Selection: Identify and approve food, beverage, and cleaning suppliers, seeking trends and cost reduction. * High-Level Negotiation: Secure optimal pricing, payment terms, and quality. * Purchase Order Management: Full control from purchase order issuance through delivery tracking. * Quality Control: Ensure manufacturer integrity and manage merchandise returns. * Leadership and Operations: Work closely with the Operations and Loss Prevention teams, leading the goods receipt and sorting process to ensure qualified purchases. * Data Analysis: Monitor purchasing KPIs and update price lists. Requirements and Skills: * Technology: Advanced Excel proficiency and expertise in procurement software. * Behavioral Profile: Organization, dynamism, and excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders. * Market Insight: Technical product knowledge (perishables, non-perishables, etc.). * Attitude: Leadership-oriented profile, ready to work on the front line (receiving/inspection) when required.
