Contribute to production optimization and continuous process improvement. **JOB SUMMARY** Perform mine planning and control activities, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and personnel to comply with economic, safety, and environmental guidelines. Responsible for reviewing and monitoring short-term mining plans with a focus on production, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and profitability. Contribute to production optimization by analyzing data, tracking KPIs, and proposing improvements based on deviations identified between planned and actual performance. Provide technical analysis and support for operational decision-making. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Prepare daily mining release authorizations and pit geometry/drawings; * Translate tactical strategies into operational-level execution through mine rounds, daily and weekly mining plans; * Collaborate in the development and review of short-term production plans using Deswik software and supporting tools (Excel spreadsheets and Power BI); * Support engineering project development (e.g., waste dumps, pit design, ramps, and access roads); * Coordinate with technical and operational departments—geology, mining operations, and processing—to align requirements and plans; * Monitor daily execution of the monthly plan, including evaluation of ore volume, grade, and quality; * Identify and report operational deviations, jointly proposing corrective actions with the team; * Participate in routine meetings and analyses of production- and planning-related anomalies; * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for processes and tools used by the planning department; * Participate in weekly and monthly production adherence analyses against the plan; Comply with company’s current operational procedures, especially those related to Health, Safety, and Environment. * **REQUIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering / Production Engineering / Geological Engineering; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Production process control – Power BI, Excel; * Proficiency in mine planning software – Deswik; * Knowledge and experience in mining sequencing and open-pit mining operations; * Operational implementation – mine design and stockpiles; * Driver’s license Category B. **REQUIRED BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:** * Strong analytical capability and ability to make quick decisions. * Clear and assertive communication. * Proactivity and sense of urgency. * Resilience in high-pressure environments. * Collaborative work ethic and systemic perspective.
