




Description: Requirements * Prior experience as an Engineering Manager, Engineering Coordinator, or senior technical leader in digital product teams. * Proven track record of leading development teams and supporting engineers’ growth. * Experience with distributed systems architecture, microservices, and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, DevOps, observability, automated testing). * Ability to balance technical and strategic decisions, ensuring delivery efficiency and quality. * Knowledge and hands-on experience with agile methodologies and collaborative development practices (Agile, Kanban, Scrum, etc.). * Strong communication and influencing skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Experience in team structuring, performance management, and development planning. Preferred Qualifications * Solid prior experience as a developer, technical leader, or Tech Reference. * Experience in scale-ups or rapidly growing companies. * Experience in healthtech or regulated industries. * Active participation in engineering culture initiatives (chapters, guilds, tech radar, tech talks). * Experience in environments with complex integrations and high transactional volume. * Demonstrated history of implementing quality practices (automated testing, structured code reviews, monitoring). Key Responsibilities: Performance, Deliverables & Processes * Define and monitor technical efficiency and quality metrics to support data-driven decisions. * Collaborate closely with Product and Design leadership to ensure technical initiatives align with organizational strategic goals. * Support Tech References and developers in their technical growth by establishing sound engineering practices, architectural standards, and code quality guidelines. * Manage team technical capacity and prioritization to ensure predictable, sustainable, and business-impactful deliveries. * Adapt squad rituals and workflows as needed, with a focus on continuous improvement. * Balance delivery, quality, speed, and team development. * Ensure documentation practices and knowledge sharing within the team. People Management & Development * Conduct people management rituals (1:1s, feedback sessions, PDIs), strengthening individual and collective growth. * Lead, develop, and inspire engineering teams, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning. * Plan career movements (promotions, scope adjustments) based on clear criteria aligned with organizational processes. * Promote a psychologically safe environment with autonomy and ownership. * Contribute to team structuring, recruitment, onboarding, and career development for engineering personnel.
