Requirements: **What we seek for this Senior DevOps position**
We seek a Senior DevOps professional to work in a highly critical, secure, and highly available environment, supporting the evolution of our Payment Institution (PI).
This role holds strategic importance and serves as a technical reference point, responsible for ensuring that our infrastructure, automations, and DevOps practices meet business, security, governance, and regulatory requirements expected of financial institutions.
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, actively participating in technical decisions, defining standards, and evolving architecture in collaboration with development, security, SRE, and architecture teams.
**Your responsibilities will include:**
Leading the technical planning, deployment, and evolution of infrastructure and DevOps tools;
Designing secure, resilient, and scalable architectures aligned with regulatory, information security, and business requirements;
Defining and evolving automation standards, CI/CD pipelines, observability, access control, and environment management;
Ensuring infrastructure and tools are provisioned, configured, and managed efficiently, securely, and at scale;
Automating critical processes, prioritizing reliability, traceability, auditability, and reduction of operational risk;
Leading end-to-end DevOps projects, from solution design through to operations;
Providing technical support for incident response, root cause analysis, and action plan definition;
Collaborating with development, SRE, security, and operations teams to support technical decisions and solution integration;
Creating and maintaining technical, architectural, and operational documentation, with emphasis on auditability and compliance;
Participating in capacity planning, architecture, scalability, availability, and information security planning;
Monitoring and ensuring environment availability, performance, and security;
Managing access control to DevOps tools and Azure Cloud resources (VMs, containers, databases, etc.);
Supporting and reinforcing security processes, ensuring adherence to internal policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
**Requirements ✅**
Solid experience as a DevOps professional in critical and/or regulated environments;
Practical experience in Payment Institutions (PI), Financial Institutions (FI), credit cooperatives, fintechs, or similar financial environments;
Advanced experience with DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines;
Experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, including resource and security management;
Solid knowledge of observability, monitoring, incident response, and high availability;
Experience with access controls, environment segregation, and security practices;
Ability to lead technical discussions, define standards, and support team evolution;
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in complex contexts.
