About the Role: Alcoa is seeking an Environmental Engineering professional to join the Juruti/PA site and specifically work within the Environmental team. As Junior Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring effective implementation of the Physical Environment Environmental Monitoring Plan, aligned with established guidelines. Additionally, you will ensure application of the site’s Environmental Management System in accordance with Alcoa’s standards and policies, through engagement of operational leaders, specialized technical professionals, and efficient management of the operational budget. Key responsibilities include: * Lead the team responsible for activities and processes associated with the physical environment, ensuring technical integration, operational quality, and compliance with environmental regulations, technical specifications, and legal requirements; * Coordinate technical analyses, diagnostics, monitoring, and operational controls, promoting implementation of environmental management practices aligned with regulatory requirements and corporate guidelines; * Prepare and update high-quality technical reports, opinions, action plans, and official documents, integrating critical analyses, regulatory requirements, and strategic information for decision-making; * Drive waste minimization and control initiatives and projects, aligned with company standards and long-term strategies; * Manage implementation and maintenance of a structured environmental database, serving as essential support for documentation, planning, and environmental control management; * Administer the ISO 14001-aligned Environmental Management System, promoting evolution of action plans and continuous improvement of physical environment processes. What You Can Bring to This Role: * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering; * Proven experience in Environmental area, including ASI and ISO 14001; * In-depth knowledge of national and international environmental legislation; * ISO 14001 certification will be considered a differentiator; * Experience managing environmental databases and advanced English proficiency for interaction with global teams are desirable; * Proactive, strategic profile with influential leadership and strong communication and relationship-building skills; * Willingness to relocate to Juruti-PA (remote area); * Work arrangement: on-site.
