You have the power to shape things to make them better. **About the Role:** Alcoa is seeking a **Specialized Maintenance Technician** to join our team at the **Juruti/PA** site, responsible for workshop activities and serving as the technical reference for the industrial maintenance team in preventive and corrective maintenance of subassemblies, cranes, hoists, and light industrial vehicles, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality procedures during all activities. **Key Responsibilities Include:** * Disseminate theoretical and practical technical knowledge to the entire team; * Perform maintenance on roll crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulic couplings, welding, oxy\-fuel cutting, metrology, technical drawing reading and interpretation, failure analysis methodology, filters, cranes and hoists, and light industrial vehicles; * Manual and centralized lubrication systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, hydraulic circuit interpretation, lubricant handling and storage, lubrication plan development, online and offline filtration systems, contamination control, collection, analysis, applications, and characteristics of lubricants, and knowledge management (training); * Interface with Engineering to acquire technical knowledge and relay it to your team, including equipment manuals and guidance; * Interface with Planning to ensure adherence to scheduling and control of work orders (OMs), including timely completion and return after execution; * Experience operating machine tools (lathes, milling machines, bench drills, and others); * Substantial expertise in machining, metrology, drawing interpretation, welding, metrology, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems—enabling effective transfer of such knowledge across the team and providing efficient technical support during all workshop subassembly inspections and assemblies. **What You Can Bring to This Role:** * Technical qualification in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering—with active CFT registration; * Driver’s license (Category B); * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (desirable); * Intermediate English proficiency for reading and interpreting manuals (desirable); * Extensive experience in this role; * **Residency in Juruti\-PA (remote area).** **What Is Offered:** * As a values\-based company, we act with integrity, operate with excellence, care for people, and lead with courage; * Opportunity to build a long\-term career across our local and global operations; * Recognized as one of the best companies to work for by the Great Place to Work program; * Recognized by the Exame Diversity Guide as one of the companies with the best practices regarding inclusion, equity, gender, ethnicity, race, persons with disabilities (PCDs), and LGBTQIA\+ individuals. **Additional Information** * You will be contacted only if selected for an interview; this process may take up to four weeks from the job posting closing date; * **When applying, remember to attach your resume.** Application closing date: 04/24/2026 **About the Location** Founded in 2006, with operations commencing in 2009, the Juruti mine holds an estimated bauxite reserve of 700 million metric tons.
