About the Role:
Responsible for managing port operations (hinterland, port, and maritime) in Juruti\-PA, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Will analyze performance indicators to meet production targets, implement process improvements, and optimize operations. Will serve as the liaison among internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring all activities align with applicable regulations and the company’s strategic objectives.
Additional responsibilities include:* Manage port operations (hinterland, port, and maritime), ensuring safety, productivity, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Lead multidisciplinary teams (operators, technicians, coordinators, inspectors, and third\-party personnel), promoting development and engagement.
* Monitor annual budget, expenses, and measurement reports; draft service scopes and purchase requisitions.
* Participate in CAPEX project implementation, focusing on cost reduction, reliability, and infrastructure.
* Actively manage contracts and suppliers.
* Ensure updates to procedures, training, and safety practices.
* Interface with regulatory agencies and stakeholders (ANTAC, ANVISA, Receita Federal, Marinha, Praticagem, Polícia Federal), ensuring licenses, documentation, and safe operationalization.
What You Can Bring to This Role:* Bachelor’s degree completed.
* Advanced English (written and spoken).
* Knowledge of port regulations and legislation.
* Relationship management and negotiation skills with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
* Strong focus on safety and processes.

Founded in 2006, with operations starting in 2009, the Juruti mine has a potential bauxite reserve of 700 million metric tons. Its current operating capacity is 7\.5 million tons per year (6\.5 million dry metric tons) of high\-quality bauxite.
