The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications, as well as supporting technical decisions and mentoring within the team. **Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain backend APIs and services using Python. * Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices. * Participate in architecture discussions, proposing scalable and secure solutions. * Support defining development standards and technical documentation. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, product) to deliver end-to-end solutions. * Mentor and support junior developers on the team. **Qualifications** ------------------ **Required Qualifications** * Strong experience with Python * Experience with web frameworks such as **Django, Flask, or FastAPI**. * Knowledge of **REST API design**. * Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis). * Solid knowledge of **automated testing** (pytest, unittest). * Experience in **cloud environments (AWS)** and with **containers (Docker, Kubernetes)**. * Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Nats). * Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana). * Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). * **Completed undergraduate degree** in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields; **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with high-scale systems and large-volume data processing. * Contributions to open-source projects or the Python community. * Practical experience with Machine Learning, including: + Model training and evaluation (scikit\-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost). + Building ML pipelines (Airflow, Kubeflow, MLflow). + Best practices for monitoring models in production (drift, performance, inference metrics). **Expected Profile** * Proactive in proposing technical solutions. * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments. * Systemic mindset to balance technical quality, performance, and delivery timelines. **Additional Information** -------------------------- At Serasa Experian, we believe diversity is essential to fostering a healthier, more innovative workplace where everyone can share experiences and express ideas.
