The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing merchandise. The concept of initiative (taking ownership of tasks or starting work independently) falls under this item, as it is a fundamental condition for demonstrating proactive behavior. * Focus on task execution, with the ability to tune out environmental distractions and concentrate on performing assigned tasks or activities. * Interpersonal relationships characterized by empathy—demonstrating a high capacity to perceive, interpret, and anticipate others’ concerns and feelings, showing respect for individuality and avoiding interpersonal conflicts. * Cooperative behavior to achieve team results. * Agility and dynamism during task execution. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct physical inspection of incoming merchandise against the invoice upon warehouse entry. * Receive and store merchandise. * Perform order picking and inter-store transfers, as directed by the system. * Maintain an organized store inventory, following standard operating procedures (medicines, convenience items). * Prepare products for customer shipment when required. * Monitor inventory movements to take necessary actions (sales, stock availability vs. system records, transfers). * Participate in full or cycle inventories. * Assist in the merchandise restocking process. * Assist in store loss prevention efforts, including expiry date control/verification and identification of potential damages. * Perform other related duties as required by the department or organization.
