The professional's challenge lies in performing nursing assistance activities, implementing occupational health initiatives, ensuring the health of workers and beneficiaries, and complying with the Company's standards and procedures as well as applicable legislation.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
Key responsibilities include:
* Scheduling, monitoring, and managing medical examinations (pre-employment, periodic, complementary, termination, etc.);
* Verifying scheduled examinations and attending to employees or candidates individually, conducting pre-consultation assessments according to clinical evaluations prescribed for the position;
* Recording occupational examination results in the system;
* Responding to daily incidents and, if necessary, referring individuals to the nearest hospital, documenting the nursing procedure in the system;
* Maintaining organization and upkeep of the outpatient facility and medical equipment;
* Managing inventory of supplies and medications;
* Delivering training sessions and lectures related to occupational health;
* Entering leave-of-absence records and medical certificates into the system;
* Completing Occupational Health Certificates (ASO) forms and subsequently registering them in the system;
* Providing first aid at the workplace in case of accidents or illness, including wound care or specialized immobilization, and arranging appropriate subsequent medical treatment;
* Organizing files effectively using boxes, drawers, or appropriate partitions to ensure easy document retrieval.
* Analyzing and completing benefit applications with the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) (sickness and accident benefits);
* Developing and implementing health promotion and protection plans, campaigns, and programs for employees;
* Developing and delivering training sessions and lectures related to occupational health;
* Periodically generating and analyzing reports on medical consultations and absences, creating preventive programs and campaigns to minimize causes of absences and reduce absenteeism;
* Organizing and managing the nursing department, requesting purchases of necessary supplies, and monitoring all processes until delivery.
* Training and coordinating the occupational health team’s activities;
* Analyzing and tracking statistical data on occupational accidents and diseases to prepare procedural support reports;
* Analyzing and discussing medical certificate statistics with the occupational physician, jointly developing actions and solutions with public health secretariats to minimize absence causes.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing – with specialization in Occupational Nursing – and active registration with the professional regulatory council;
Additionally:
* Experience managing teams;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
* Analytical ability;
* Strategic vision;
* Problem-solving skills;
* Adaptability and capacity for change;
Preferred qualifications:
* Emergency medical technician certification;
