We are seeking a professional to fill the position of Field Distribution Technician II. **Let’s transform collaboration into results—together?** **Responsibilities and duties** **Activities to be performed:** * Conduct technical inspections at consumer units, verifying connection standards and compliance with current norms and procedures; * Supervise on-site new connection, suspension, reconnection, and other commercial services, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to operational standards; * Perform tests and inspections on metering systems, temporary grounding, and electrical system equipment, ensuring reliability and safety of installations; * Carry out and monitor emergency responses, switching operations, and other low- and medium-voltage electrical system operational activities, interfacing with the Distribution Operations Center (COD); * Supervise field activities related to voltage level regularization, operational adjustments, and interventions, aiming to ensure supply quality; * Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements during activity execution; * Perform operational activities consistent with the full-level function, contributing to continuity, reliability, and efficiency of the electricity distribution system. **Requirements and qualifications** **Education level:** Completed Technical Education **Required qualification:** Technical course in Electrotechnology, Electricity, Electrical Systems, or fields related to electricity distribution. **Note:** Active technical registration certificate is mandatory. **Desirable courses:** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields. **Technical competencies:** * Experience in on-site new connection, suspension, reconnection, and commercial services; * Experience in emergency response, operation, and switching on low- and medium-voltage networks; * Experience in inspections, testing, and verification of metering systems and electrical equipment; * Experience in technical inspections related to voltage levels and electrical damage; * Knowledge of operation, maintenance, and technical and commercial services of the electricity distribution system; * Knowledge of safety standards, operational procedures, and COD guidelines; * Knowledge of reading electrical project drawings, connection standards, and metering schematics; * Knowledge of inspection, voltage level regularization, and assessment of electrical damage per PRODIST and applicable regulations. **Additional information** **Why apply:** By joining Grupo Equatorial, you become part of an expanding company whose culture values continuous development, talent diversity, and commitment to the future.
