Operating machine tools and surface grinding machines Required Education: Vocational Training Course in Toolmaking (Mechanical/Mechatronic) NR-11 – Overhead Crane Operation (Mandatory) **Brief Description:** Perform metal tooling activities, including corrective and preventive maintenance of injection molds, tooling, and dies, and conduct functional tests on hydraulic and electrical components contained in injection molds and/or tooling and dies. **Technical Competencies:** Tool adjustment Storage of materials, products, and tools Interpretation of technical drawings Maintenance of production equipment (corrective and preventive) ABNT technical standards and metrology Machining processes **Specific Activities and Responsibilities:** Metal Tooling: Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on tooling, dies, and pronics, carrying out manual interventions or using machine tools to ensure correction and/or prevention of failures. Conduct functional and manual tests on tooling and dies to prevent unplanned interventions. Clean and lubricate tooling and dies with specific products to ensure proper operation of the items involved. Make tooling and dies available and store them according to requirements and in pre-established locations, facilitating handling by production areas. Operate surface grinding machines to grind parts of tooling and dies, ensuring optimal functionality. Support the try-out of new tooling as directed and requested. Receive and verify new replacement parts against drawings.
