Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to work at Mineração Vale Verde, located in the municipality of Craíbas/AL. Candidate information for open positions during the selection process is strictly handled in accordance with LGPD – the General Data Protection Law.* **Responsibilities and duties** * Studies production activities and develops proposals for improvements in processes, equipment, devices, and methods; corrects manufacturing times for product components and final products; critically and statistically analyzes processes operating outside required parameters. Researches better utilization of labor and raw materials. Develops sampling plans for mass balances, water and metallurgical balance closure, and performance investigation; * Conduct grinding and flotation tests at bench and pilot scale in the process laboratory; * Conduct industrial trials (reagents, liners, grinding media, etc.); * Perform and analyze data from geometallurgical tests included in production plans; * Provide technical support for the development of new processes and new suppliers; * Accompany technical visits from suppliers; * Provide support in budget preparation; * Provide technical support to production teams, providing guidance and training; * Monitor and analyze critical variables affecting the production process; evaluate consumption; data and parameters impacting plant performance; * Critically and statistically analyze processes operating outside required parameters; * Develop sampling plans for mass balances, water and metallurgical balance closure, for performance investigation; * Accompany maintenance and operations teams during corrective and preventive shutdowns for equipment and wear parts inspection; * Monitor the plant’s daily operational routine; * And other related activities. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Mining, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering; * Postgraduate specialization in Mineral Processing is desirable; * Knowledge of copper processing, sampling techniques, and statistics is desirable.
