Reads, interprets, or sketches drawings and sketches to guide work execution; requests necessary internal and external resources (labor, equipment, projects, etc.); monitors and approves completed work. Maintains records of executed activities for area performance evaluation, maintenance schedule updates, expense allocation, and controls; * Assigns, guides, and supervises technical maintenance services performed by third parties, providing them with necessary information and advising them on equipment-specific requirements—or gathering such information to assume future maintenance responsibilities; * Requests procurement of materials required for maintenance services, according to the established schedule or emergent needs. Completes required documentation, obtains authorization, and forwards it to the Purchasing Department to execute the order; * Ensures operational safety by monitoring correct use of PPE, equipment, and tools employed by the team; requests maintenance when necessary; trains subordinates; participates in personnel movement processes (recruitment, transfers, promotions, dismissals); and maintains order, cleanliness, and discipline in the area to ensure optimal performance and contribution to company results; * Receives suppliers and maintenance service providers for quotations, quality assessments, feasibility evaluations, etc. Analyzes proposals, provides recommendations, and forwards them to the Plant Maintenance Coordinator for approval; * Periodically prepares performance reports and demonstrative charts for review by the Plant Maintenance Coordinator, as well as updates technical inspection reports for equipment, for control and audit purposes; * Attends daily cross-departmental meetings discussing results, action plans, resource and support needs, technical assistance, new projects, budget preparation, etc., aiming to achieve targets and improved outcomes; * Contributes to developing the plant equipment maintenance schedule, aiming for effective service delivery with minimal disruption to production. Evaluates prior equipment performance, reviews maintenance manuals, completes service sheets for period tracking, forecasts required resources and timelines, defines priorities, and discusses the plan with the Plant Maintenance Coordinator for approval.
