Requirements: The ***Payments*** area is responsible for ***operating issuance, acquiring, transactional switch, processing, and fraud prevention systems***, and seeks a ***Senior Quality Engineer*** to join our team at the largest software and product development company for the Brazilian financial market — where we believe technological innovation inspires evolution. **This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and correct functioning of software products through functional and automated testing. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the development team to identify defects, execute comprehensive tests, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software aligned with business objectives.** **Responsibilities:** * Test design and execution: Develop and execute functional and automated test cases to validate application functionalities. * Test automation: Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium (basic scripting knowledge required). * Defect management: Identify, document, and collaborate with the development team to resolve defects. * Regression testing: Execute automated regression tests prior to each release or update. * Documentation: Maintain up-to-date test cases, reports, and other software quality-related artifacts. * Team collaboration: Participate in planning meetings, user story reviews, and acceptance criteria discussions to ensure test alignment with business requirements. **To \#match, this role requires the following mandatory qualifications:** * Required education and certifications. * Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Analyst, or Tester. * Proven experience in functional testing and test automation. **The following knowledge or experience would be considered advantageous:** * Functional testing: Design and execution of manual functional tests based on business requirements. * Automation tools: Experience with Selenium and other test automation tools. * Scripting/programming languages: Knowledge of Java and/or Python for test script creation. * Version control systems: Familiarity with Git (not mandatory) and knowledge of CI/CD and pipelines. * Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Understanding of agile methodologies, especially Scrum. * Incident management tools: Experience with Azure DevOps, Mantis. * Web services and API testing: Experience with Postman and SOAPUI. * Intermediate SQL knowledge. * Domain knowledge in the Fintech industry. **Behavioral Skills** Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
