Job Summary:
A professional responsible for identifying, mapping, documenting, and improving procurement processes; negotiating with suppliers; planning procurements; and ensuring the selection of competitive suppliers—with a focus on value creation and risk mitigation.

* Identify, map, and document existing processes \- Procure materials, services, and products requested from domestic and international markets.
* Prepare instructions for price quotation collection.
* Issue necessary documentation for the procurement process.
* Propose improvements to methods and processes within the procurement chain.
* Negotiate with suppliers.
* Consult and analyze catalogs, manuals, and other promotional materials to support accurate purchasing decisions.
* Plan key procurements required for project implementation, defining supply lines, timelines, and strategies.
* Participate in demand planning for materials—both operational and investment-related—in collaboration with end users, providing market information and historical consumption data.
* Propose contracting strategies for services, equipment, and materials (typically in complex markets), aiming at value creation, supply assurance, and innovation.
* Ensure selection of competitive suppliers through strategy development, team and role definition, negotiation preparation, supplier recommendation, and implementation of required changes and agreements with user departments.
* Conduct supplier market assessments to identify opportunities, gaps, strengths, and weaknesses via benchmarking, supporting continuous improvement.
* Perform analyses of economic indicators influencing material and equipment costs, and be capable of evaluating, critiquing, and proposing basket compositions that reflect cost evolution over time.
* Execute procurement and monitor due diligence stages.
* Gather information, conduct critical analysis, and develop and implement action plans for suppliers facing potential risks (e.g., insolvency, contractual default).
* Enable operational integration with suppliers, focusing on mitigating procurement risks and defining tools for expenditure and savings tracking.
* Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills for processes and results.
**Required Knowledge and/or Skills:**
* Familiarity with the supply chain for services, materials, and equipment\- Understanding of key performance indicators driving the materials and equipment supply chain
* Experience in material demand forecasting, sourcing, negotiation, and formalization of purchase orders/contracts in domestic and international markets
* Supplier selection and development
* Experience with SAP ERP MM module
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
* Cost analysis for services, materials, and equipment
* English (intermediate level preferred)
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
