Job Summary: We are seeking a coding-passionate professional to apply generative AI and Machine Learning to industrial data, building data pipelines, developing models, and working with LLMs in real-world scenarios. Work with LLMs in real-world scenarios We are looking for someone who truly enjoys coding and wants to apply generative AI and Machine Learning in an industrial data context (production, quality, maintenance, machine events). This is a role for those eager to deepen their expertise in applied AI, working with data pipelines, ML models, and LLMs in real-world applications. **Ideal for candidates who:** \-Enjoy both modeling and deploying to production \-Follow AI / LLM benchmarks, research papers, tools, and news \-Want to see models making a difference in real processes—not just in notebooks **Your responsibilities will include:** \-Building data pipelines (ingestion, cleaning, transformation, aggregations) using industrial data \-Developing and evaluating Machine Learning models (classification, regression, anomaly detection, etc.) \-Working with generative AI / LLMs in workflows that combine text and structured data \-Designing and executing evaluations (Evals) for ML models and generative AI components \-Collaborating with engineering teams to expose models via APIs and services, ensuring performance and cost-efficiency \-Monitoring metrics and proposing continuous improvements to models **Requirements:** \-1–3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or similar role \-Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit\-learn, etc.) \-Experience with SQL and relational databases \-Knowledge of classical ML (metrics, validation, overfitting, etc.) and basic statistics \-Some experience deploying models into production (APIs, scheduled jobs, scripts, containers) \-Hands-on experience with generative AI / LLMs (using APIs, prompt engineering, best practices) **Nice-to-have:** \-Experience with industrial data (sensors, manufacturing processes, machine events) \-Experience with MLOps (monitoring, experiment tracking, retraining) \-Willingness to continuously study and test new AI approaches **MUST RESIDE IN FLORIANÓPOLIS\-SC** Employment type: Full-time, CLT permanent contract Compensation: R$5\.000,00 \- R$8\.000,00 per month Benefits: * Health insurance * Fuel allowance * Commercial partnerships and discounts * Life insurance * Food allowance * Meal voucher * Transportation voucher Work location: Hybrid remote work based in Florianópolis, SC
