Maintain a clean and organized storage environment Job Description: \- Operate forklifts to store, transport, or retrieve goods; \- Respond promptly to work orders; \- Visually inspect loading and unloading operations; \- Verify contents, weight, and volume of cargo; \- Select appropriate cargo handling equipment based on cargo type; \- Plan materials required for storage (stratum, pallet, lining); \- Schedule sequence of cargo movement; \- Use forklift accessories according to cargo type; \- Load cargo in accordance with scheduling and equipment capacity; \- Restock goods following warehouse organization and/or picking requirements; \- Monitor equipment operating conditions during operation; \- Control equipment speed and direction of operation; \- Unload and store scheduled items; maintain a hygienic environment; \- Verify product expiration dates; \- Inspect cargo storage locations; \- Delimit areas designated for cargo movement; \- Identify cargo being handled; \- Interpret packaging symbols; \- Store cargo according to product expiration dates; \- Identify cargo characteristics for transportation and storage; \- Consult manufacturers' instructions for equipment use and maintenance; \- Inspect basic operational components of cargo handling equipment; \- Test equipment functionality; \- Identify malfunctions and damages; \- Self-assess psycho-physical condition prior to task execution; \- Identify unsafe situations.
