This includes answering questions, assisting with inquiries and complaints, and ensuring customers feel satisfied with the service received; * Operate the cash register quickly and efficiently, handling customers' financial transactions—such as product payments and change—ensuring all items have been scanned. The Store Operator must possess mathematical calculation skills and be able to handle various payment methods, including cash, credit and debit cards, and meal vouchers; * Keep shelves consistently well-stocked, organized, and clean, ensuring efficient merchandise restocking and maintaining up-to-date inventory according to the store layout. The Store Operator must also monitor product expiration dates, removing items past their expiry; * Identify product prices and update them according to store promotions and discounts. They must also be prepared to handle price disputes when a customer challenges a product’s price; * Maintain store cleanliness and organization—including the checkout area, counters, and shelves—and ensure storage areas and stockrooms remain organized and clean to facilitate product access; * Be agile, proactive, and capable of working under pressure, calmly and professionally managing stressful situations such as long checkout lines and dissatisfied customers.
