Managed by multiple families, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers, following established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures; scanning merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals, closing the checkout, and reporting daily financial activity at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout, following established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures; scanning/weighing products, consulting the code table, checking product labels, verifying weight on the scale and system matching, processing payments, and — in case of checks — confirming prior authorization and making proper notations on the back; when handling cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper checkout closing, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and delivering them to the Supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby preventing excessive exposure of cash and ensuring accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving targets of ongoing campaigns by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and informing the Supervisor for corrective action; Help reduce front-end losses by proactively minimizing bag waste, potential thefts, and promptly returning perishables; Maintain the workstation and equipment in perfect working and clean condition; request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in preparing goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift packaging, etc. Requirements **Academic qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional information:** 100% on-site position **Work location:** R.
