Freight and inventory management **Logistics Intern** **Weir** **Joinville \- SC** **On-site** Job Objective: As an intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of tasks that directly contribute to optimizing our warehouse processes. Your role will be critical in supporting the logistics department, managing freight and inventory. **Job Description** * Scheduling transportation. * Managing freight. * Requesting delivery confirmations from partner carriers. * Issuing purchase orders. * Entering import invoices. * Recording unit accounts. * Conducting occasional inventory tracking. * Complying with requirements outlined as your responsibilities under the Duty of Care (a document addressing individual and collective commitment to Health and Safety). * Safety first: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero-harm behaviors in support of our effort to build a world-class safety culture. **Requirements:** * Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics or related fields. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
