Production support and continuous improvement Job Description **JOB MISSION** Responsible for machine operation, monitoring, and feeding, ensuring process parameters and performing adjustments when necessary. Ensures product quality standards and workstation organization, acting as a bridge between production and maintenance. Monitors production systems, certifying area quality and safety standards. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Follow safety golden rules; * Be responsible for your own safety and that of other colleagues; * Perform raw material, consumables, and finished product packaging feeding according to standard procedures defined for the workstation (IT and OP); * Keep your workstation clean and organized, following the company's 5S program; * Ensure accurate production reporting; * Complete production forms according to area standards; * Ensure product quality and conduct necessary process inspections; * Support production by performing critical analysis of equipment failures, from incident ticket creation through machine release validation; * Perform machine setups (product and color); * Perform process adjustments according to authorized competency level; * Perform maintenance levels I, II, and III; * Develop standardized work procedures for the area; * Ensure process parameter sheets, production standards, cycle times, and quality standards; * Ensure production volumes are delivered on schedule; * Lead and implement process and area improvement and cost reduction projects; * Participate in root cause analyses; * Serve as a knowledge multiplier and train new colleagues; * Assist in testing and tryouts of new or modified equipment, validating results through performance reports. **QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES (ACADEMIC BACKGROUND, SPECIFIC SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE)** Education: * Technical education in mechatronics, industrial automation, plastics, or related fields; * Flexibility to work in shifts; Experience: * Knowledge of polymer and elastomer injection processes, plastic component assembly and marking; * Adherence to current technical standards; * Computer literacy for operating standard applications (Microsoft) (preferred).
