The National Service for Industrial Training (SENAI) – Santa Catarina State Department hereby announces this Call for Research Fellow Applications and invites interested candidates to apply, in accordance with the criteria established herein. * Academic Level: Undergraduate student currently enrolled * Field of Study: Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or related disciplines. Required Qualifications: * Introduction to Materials Science (basic level); * Manufacturing process simulation. Desirable Knowledge: * Simulation software (e.g., ABAQUS, ANSYS, etc.); * Basic knowledge of Laser Shock Peening; * Scientific initiation or participation in research projects; Intermediate English proficiency. * Description and Objectives of the R&D&I Project: The LINSERT project is a bilateral partnership between Brazil and the Czech Republic aimed at developing laser-based surface modification technologies. Its objective is to develop, research, and apply novel surface functionalization processes to enhance the performance of aerospace industry components.
