Job Summary: The Optima Solutions Process Assistant ensures that PPG products meet the process and quality parameters agreed upon with the customer, supporting continuous improvement. Participate in continuous improvement projects The Optima Solutions Process Assistant is responsible for performing all activities necessary to ensure that PPG products and services meet the agreed-upon process, application, and quality parameters with the customer, and support continuous improvement activities. **Detailed Responsibilities:** Ensure products meet the quality agreed upon with the customer (monitor quality, product, and process controls); Perform measurements and physical and chemical analyses of products to prevent and resolve issues; Address product deviations by making adjustments and additions, and support process changes); Measure and generate reports to support decision-making (support Planning / Materials Inventory and issue resolution); Provide technical support for process parameter changes and line correlation; Monitor material shelf life and initiate revalidation processes (product sample separation, dispatch, and process completion); Schedule material deliveries and update forecasts (meetings with customer and PPG); Analyze charts to detect variations or trends and act preventively; Develop continuous improvement projects, encouraged to pursue new initiatives; Track production-line issues, propose and implement actions to eliminate them (participate in technical team meetings with PPG and the customer); Provide technical support to application, paint rework and e-coat, top coat, and assembly areas; Ensure all activities are performed safely (interventions on products and processes, measurements, analyses, and monitoring); Ensure adherence to 5S principles and compliance with customer and PPG standards and guidelines; Support all new activities in the area and their implementation; Provide ideas to improve products and processes; Support customers during audits; Perform and support execution of process parameter measurements — color, film thickness, wave scan, thermography, foil solid, and chemical and physical analyses for top coat and e-coat; Report material consumption and inventory levels to the customer and PPG; Facilitate activities and interactions between PPG and customer teams; Perform and provide technical assistance, as needed, for customer process cleanings; Prepare products for customer production-line replenishment; Represent PPG before the customer in the absence of site leadership; Complete APP tools (Secure Launch, ETQ, SST, and others). **Required Qualifications** Chemistry Technical Degree; Reside in Araquari or surrounding region; **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience in the Automotive Industry; Bachelor’s Degree; English proficiency. **About us:** **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD™** Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
