Come join our team as a **Ventilation Engineer!** **Key Responsibilities:** * Plan and implement ventilation and refrigeration systems that ensure occupational safety and operational efficiency, aligned with regulatory standards and production objectives. * Conduct technical analyses and simulations for sizing fans, exhaust systems, ductwork, and raises, ensuring adequate airflow across all mining faces. * Continuously monitor critical parameters (airflow, temperature, air supply, pressure, gases) and propose immediate corrective actions to maintain safe conditions. * Manage inspections and preventive maintenance of ventilation equipment, ensuring system availability and reliability. * Prepare technical and managerial reports with performance indicators, proposing improvements and innovations to reduce costs and increase energy efficiency. * Integrate ventilation plans with production schedules, coordinating activities with mining, electrical, safety, and environmental teams. * Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, including issuance of documentation required by regulatory authorities. * Promote a culture of safety and sustainability by guiding teams on best practices and proper use of ventilation systems. * Propose solutions and develop improvement projects for the ventilation system. * Perform other tasks of similar nature or complexity associated with the role or environment. **Knowledge; Technical Requirements and Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. * Underground Ventilation and Refrigeration Engineering\- Principles of airflow, thermal control, and gas dilution in underground mines; sizing and operation of main, auxiliary, and ducted ventilation systems. * Standards and Regulations \- Brazilian legislation (NR\-22, NR\-33) and international mining safety standards. * Modeling and Simulation \- Advanced use of software such as VentSim, AutoCAD for ventilation planning and analysis; interpretation of simulation results for system optimization. * Energy Management and Operational Efficiency \- Techniques for reducing energy consumption in ventilation systems; cost\-benefit evaluation in improvement projects; monitoring and instrumentation \- Measurement systems for airflow, pressure, temperature, and gases. * Integrated Planning\- Integration of ventilation plans with mining and maintenance schedules; risk analysis and contingency planning for emergency situations. * People and Safety Management\- Technical leadership to guide operational teams; training on safe practices and incident response. **Competencies** * Analytical reasoning and attention to detail; * Organization, deadline discipline, and sense of priority; * Proactivity, autonomy, and ownership mindset; * Collaboration and strong interpersonal relationships with partner departments. **Location** Santa Bárbara /MG
