Keep the laboratory environment organized and maintain material inventory control. Fill out technical documents such as reports, control sheets, and other required records. Collaborate with R&D and quality assurance teams. Preparation of Raw Materials Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to established formulas. Prepare bases for creams, lotions, shampoos, among others. Assist in dilution, homogenization, and heating of components. Assistance in Formulations Support the chemist or cosmetic technician in creating new products. Conduct compatibility and stability tests of formulations. Record data and observations during the development process. Quality Control Perform physical tests (pH, viscosity, density) on finished or developing products. Assist in microbiological and safety analyses. Check product color, odor, and texture according to specifications. Laboratory Cleaning and Organization Sterilize equipment and glassware. Maintain an organized workspace and follow good practice guidelines (GMP). Monitor inventory of materials and reagents. Safety and Regulations Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals.
