




Job description: **Position summary:** The Cook is responsible for preparing and assisting in the preparation of dishes, complying with food safety standards and the quality standards of Olegário Restaurant. The role involves organizing and cleaning the work area, controlling ingredients and inventory, and preparing dishes according to the menu and the restaurant’s specifications. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare dishes according to the restaurant’s required quality and presentation standards; * Collaborate in the development and preparation of new dishes and recipes, following the Chef’s instructions; * Maintain an organized and clean work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards; * Monitor ingredient usage and storage to prevent waste; * Follow the work schedule and efficiently perform mise en place to ensure prompt service. **Requirements:** * Previous experience as a Cook in restaurants or industrial kitchens; * Experience with à la carte dishes is desirable; * Knowledge of cooking and plating techniques; * Ability to work effectively as part of a team; * Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; * Proactivity, organization, and commitment to quality. **Benefits:** * Medical assistance (company covers 50% of the monthly fee for the employee, with co-payment deducted from payroll); * Dental assistance (at no cost to the employee); * Fuel allowance or transportation voucher; * Life insurance (at no cost to the employee); * Meals provided at the workplace; * Pharmacy card. **Working hours:** * 8:00 AM to 4:20 PM (6-day workweek, 1 day off) **Compensation:** * Monthly salary of R$2,065.30; * Average monthly commission of R$ 800.00; * Potential for additional earnings.
