Responsible for assisting in all processes within the sawmill department, including: block bridge, monofilament, multi-wire saws, and filter press, aiming at the agility and productivity of the sawmill. * Ensure efficiency in all stages of the sawmill (block bridge, monofilament, multi-wire saws, and filter press), according to instructions from the saw operator and production planning; * Maintain cut quality by assisting in the replacement of rubber components on multi-wire saws; * Guarantee accuracy of information through completion of specific sawmill department forms; * Ensure durability and good condition of machinery and equipment (carts, monofilament, multi-wire saws, filter press, and pumps) by assisting in minor maintenance tasks, lubrication, and proper equipment care; * Ensure yard organization and safety through slab handling; * Organize the work area by cleaning, removing leftover materials, wood, and other items from the floor; * Contribute to the health, safety, and physical integrity of all personnel by reporting any discrepancies in the process to the immediate supervisor and halting any activity that may pose risks; * Contribute to improving processes and results within the department and company by suggesting and identifying possible improvements in related processes.
