This position is responsible for coordinating quality assurance, research, and development of natural stones in both internal production and third-party operations, as well as artificial surfacing materials, aiming to ensure the reliability of products delivered to domestic and international markets. * Conduct quality parameter inspections to improve accuracy in classifying natural stone slabs * Inspect and guarantee quality of third-party products and services, and authorize payments * Evaluate quality of products used for chemical treatment and waterproofing * Propose and conduct tests on new products—such as pigments or other items necessary to improve quality of natural, synthetic, or laminated slabs * Monitor testing of resins, wires, abrasives, and waxes applied internally or by third parties * Assess quality of MI and ME slabs in inventory and direct them for reprocessing if required, to ensure final product quality * Analyze purchase orders (POs) and propose improvements to product processing to enhance customer confidence * Respond to quality-related inquiries regarding application, installation, use, and post-installation maintenance of natural stone slabs and synthetic surfacing materials * Provide technical training to teams across the production chain, aiming to reduce production costs and improve product quality at each process stage * Conduct training sessions and lectures for stonemasons, architects, and general surfacing specifiers * Perform benchmarking with companies in the same and other industries to optimize the production process and enhance final product quality * Ensure organization and well-being through maintaining sector cleanliness * Contribute to health, safety, and physical integrity of all personnel by reporting any process deviations to the immediate supervisor and halting any activity that may pose risks * Ensure quality through suggestions and identification of potential improvements within the department.
