Job Summary: Responsible for executing and monitoring import processes—from proforma invoice analysis to cost closure—and handling block exports. Key Highlights: 1. Execute and monitor block import and export processes. 2. Negotiate international freight rates and control import payments. 3. Maintain relationships with agents and service providers. Import/Export Analyst Position Description: Responsible for executing and monitoring the company’s import processes—from proforma invoice analysis to cost closure—ensuring timely delivery, financial control, tax compliance, and material availability, as well as handling block exports. Interfaces with suppliers, logistics agents, and internal departments to ensure operational efficiency and support business needs. Responsibilities: * Execute the full import process—from proforma invoice receipt to cost closure; * Analyze tax benefits and ensure proper classification of imports; * Negotiate and contract international freight services; * Monitor and update involved departments on process status; * Issue direct import tax documents (where applicable); * Request and control import payments, including SWIFT messages and submission of documents to Finance; * Perform accounting reconciliation and cost closure for import processes; * Control international import insurance; * Monitor Concessionary Acts, ensuring compliance with deadlines and obligations; * Maintain relationships with maritime agents and service providers. * Execute block export processes.
